Booking Terms and Conditions

1. We regret we are unable to provide refunds for non-attendees. We provide rescheduling due to sickness and if the date you have requested is not available, we will then provide you with a refund. If you decide to cancel the party it needs to be done no less than a week before the party, which we will then refund the payment. If a cancellation is done after a week, we will not provide a refund.

2. Under no circumstance will The Crafty Club Ltd accept liability for any loss or damages to personal possessions during a party session.

3. The Crafty Club Ltd reserves the right to ask any child or adult to leave if their behaviour is likely to threaten the safety or enjoyment of others. The Crafty Club takes no responsibility for the behaviour of the children and ask that party hosts and parents ensure that children are behaving in an appropriate manner. If a child does not want to participate, we will not pressurise the child to do so.

4. We recommend that children wear clothing appropriate as The Crafty Club Ltd will not be liable for any stained, marked or damaged clothing.

5. Please do not attend the party with your child if you or they are ill and could risk infecting others. The Crafty Club Ltd reserves the right to request a child leave the session if it is felt they are an infection risk to others.

6. Please inform a party leader if your child has had a toilet accident so the station/products can be taken away to be cleaned, sterilised and replaced. It is the responsibility of the parents and party hosts to take children to the toilet, blow noses and wash hands. Under no circumstances will any member of The Crafty Club be left alone with children or vulnerable persons, the party host or parents attending will be present at all times. The party host/client and any other accompanying adults are responsible for all children’s behaviour, general care and well-being whilst participating in the party. We prefer that there is an adult present near by in order to supervise any children who may need attention such as mentioned above, a toilet break or drink etc.

7. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer/party host to ensure the child/children do not interact with any material/food substance that may cause an allergic reaction to their child/children. (The packaging of food products is available on request if the parents are unsure of the ingredients).

8. We make every effort to supply items that are either edible, non-toxic/ hypoallergenic. However, we advise that all materials provided including foodstuffs are not to be consumed by the babies/toddlers/children as some products (despite being edible) may present a choking hazard. We do not accept any responsibility for any accident, allergic reaction or illness found to be directly attributed to any product or item provided. It remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian/party host in attendance for supervising the children they are accompanying.

9. In the event that a party has been booked and The Crafty CluB Ltd is not able to host the party due to sickness or an unexpected event, the client will be informed of the cancellation immediately and a rescheduling will be offered or a full refund.

10. Whilst we endeavour to clear all spillages as soon as they have occurred, some materials can be slippery. It is the responsibility of the party host/parents attending to make sure children are adhering to the no running rule. All materials are made in the knowledge that they are to be played with under a parent/carer’s supervision. We appreciate your help in trying to avoid unnecessary/intentional pouring of materials outside of their immediate play areas so that everyone enjoys the experience.

11. The Crafty Club Ltd asks for a full upfront payment at the time of booking by BACS. An invoice and confirmation email will be sent via email to confirm booking once payment is received.

12. The Crafty Club Ltd gives clear guidance and instructions on how to make the slime for our slime parties and under no circumstances will we take responsibility for a child’s slime that has not worked out due to them not listening or following guidelines. We take carful care and oversee all the children whilst making slime, on the odd occasion a child will not adhere to instructions and the slime does not form, we reserve the right to ask the parent/party host to explain to the child that they need to follow the instructions in order to create the slime. Each child gets to make 2 different slimes.

13. The Crafty Club Ltd leaders may take photographs or video clips at parties. This footage may be used on the website, social pages and marketing materials. If you do not wish to have your child’s and children attending photographs taken, please make this clear to the leader hosting the party.

14. We do everything we can to ensure that the prices listed on ours and other websites are correct, and we try to keep our prices constant. Sometimes we need to change the cost of a product, either up or down. 

15. We reserve the right to change our product prices at any time without further notice. However, we guarantee the price of any product you have chosen when your booking was confirmed. Please refer to our correspondence for pricing related to your booking.

16. In order to maintain our 5-star quality of service and provide the levels of attention that each child requires during our parties, we regretfully cannot cater for more than 30 children per party. We kindly ask that this is taken into consideration when sending out invites.

17. The Crafty Club Ltd and the customer’s designated party leaders accepts no responsibility for an Event of Force Majeure including inability to carry out any agreed obligations to the customer. 

18. Instances of an Event of Force Majeure include unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of The Crafty Club Ltd and the customer’s designated party staff. These may include: adverse weather conditions, adverse traffic conditions, natural disasters, acts of war, and any other unforeseeable circumstances which might prevent us from carrying out any obligations as agreed.

19. The client acknowledges that they are responsible for providing a suitable space for the party if held either indoors or outside. This includes ensuring that the space has hard flooring and overhead shelter large enough to accommodate the event.

20. The client agrees to monitor weather forecasts leading up to the party and take necessary precautions, such as providing appropriate shelter or alternative arrangements, to mitigate any potential weather-related disruption.

21. In the event of inclement weather, such as rain or adverse conditions, which may require the party to be shortened or finished early, no refunds will be granted. It is the client's responsibility to provide a venue that is sustainable and able to withstand weather conditions.

22. The Crafty Club Ltd will require one parking space for the duration of the party, including setting up, running the party and tidying away.  

23. Personal data we collect will be used for : Managerial processing of your booking to ensure that the information provided is used to fulfil our obligations, including the contact and address details of the customer, party venue and details of the child(ren) for whom the party is being held.

Contacting the customer by phone or email with regards to their booking at any time before or after the party

24. All our party leaders are DBS checked. We also carry out our own set of strict checks and training to ensure that our party staff meet our high standards of service.
